The 39th edition of Tabayyun has been published by the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies. This issue includes the following articles: "French Post-Colonial Studies: A Reading of the Background and Perspective," by Mekki Saadallah; "Scientism and Bioethics," by Malek Almkaneen; "On the Connection Between Dialectic and Demonstraction in Ibn Rushd's Discourse: Critical Reviews," by Youssef ben Addi; and "Paths to Recognition and the Question of Relationship with the Other by Paul Ricoeur," by Hichem Mbchour. The issue also includes two translated articles: Jean Grondin's "Universality of Hermeneutics and Eloquence: Its Sources from Plato to Augustine According to Gadamer's Truth and Method," translated by Mouhssin Zekri and Stefan Weidner's "The New Tasks of the Translator: The West-Eastern Divan and the Problematic Legacy of Translation: Theories from Goethe to Benjamin," Translated by Abdellatif Boussetat. The issue also contains Amr Osman's review of History, Theory, Text: Historians and the Linguistic Turn by Elizabeth A. Clark and Brahim Mjidila's review of Reification by Axel Honneth.
