Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine the role of intellectuals during and after the Arab Spring revolutions, and its characteristics of difference, collision and confusion. This research will attempt to shed light on the critical role (conservative/revolutionary), and identify the obstacles and challenges. the paper provides some observations and suggestions for rationalizing that role, especially in the transitional periods that follow revolutions.
