The Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies (ACRPS) has published the twelfth issue of its peer reviewed, quarterly journal Tabayyun, a journal devoted to philosophy and cultural studies. This issue includes "How the Concept of Political Freedom is Absent from the Historical Thinking and Experience of Muslims" (Abdel-Rahim Al-Allam); "The Possible and the Impossible in Nietzsche's Worldview" (Tafraut Lahsen); "Law and Religion in Montesquieu's Philosophy" (Ibrahim Mjaidila); "What is the Likelihood of the Production of a Tunisian Islamism? A Study of Challenges" (Ali al-Saleh Moula).

From the regular library section this edition includes Françoise Dastur's article on Heidegger's Philosophy translated into Arabic by Mohammed Sabila.
