Report of The Sixth Annual Conference on the Social Sciences and Humanities - “Ethics in Arab-Islamic Civilization”

Abstract

The ACRPS in Doha held the Sixth Annual Conference on the Social Sciences and Humanities 2016-2017 from March 18-20, 2017. The two themes of the conference were the same as the two areas for the Arab Prize for the Social Sciences and Humanities, in the aim of encouraging academic research. The themes were "Ethics in Islamo-Arab Civilization" and "Arab Youth: Emigration and the Future". Over the course of three days, the conference witnessed debate and discussion bearing great contemporary significance, stimulated by the papers presented by researchers and academics from across the Arab world.
