Volume 5|Issue 17| Autumn 2016 |Book Reviews

Abstract

Talk about colonialism and its aftermath in the form of two pioneering experiments in the field of culture and resistance and imperialist culture which were inaugurated by Shakib Arslan and Edward Said leads research to inquire about the nature of the patterns, images, and analyses each one of them launched in the shadow of the conflict that is still raging between East and West and in light of the  ruptures that have accompanied the concepts of Islam and Arabism: freedom, justice, equality, and civil society, issues of independence, one nation, policies of the new representation and beyond orientalism.
