The Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies (ACRPS) has published the sixteenth issue of its peer reviewed, quarterly journal Tabayyun, a journal devoted to philosophy and cultural studies. The edition features the following articles:  Driss El Khadraoui's "Jurji Zaidan and the Arabic Novel: The Literary Institution and the Creation of Arabic Literature", John A. Haywood's "Bilingual Lexicography with Arabic", translated by Hafid Ismaili Alaoui, Samia Benakouche's "Secularism and Deconstruction: Text, World, and Politics of Meaning",  Mohammed Elhédi Omri's "A Critical Anthology of the Imperial Present in the Thinking of Michael Hardt and Antonio Negri",  Moussa Maireche's "The Problems of Values in the Philosophy of Augustine".

The journal's from the library section includes Mohammed Sabila's "On the Possible Meeting of Strangers: A Reading of Heidegger and Arab Thought", and Antoine Seif's "Lahbabi's Philosophy of Hope and Anxiety: Individualism and Futurism". The discussions and book reviews section includes Mohamed El Hanchi's "The Limits of Scientific Discourse on Vernacular Moroccan Arabic", Mufleh Hweitat's "Creativity and Power in the Poetry of the Early Abbasid Era", Mohammed Elidrissi's "Thoughts: Reflections on Pascal's Pensées", Wajih Kawtharani's "On Secularism and Theories of Secularization: Reading Azmi Bishara (3)", and Elhabib Stati Zineddine's "The Moroccan Educational System in the Midst of Revolutions in Technology and Values".
