The Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies and the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies have published issue 50 of the peer-reviewed journal Tabayyun: Philosophical Studies and Critical Theories. This issue includes a special collection on the status and contribution of the philosophy of law to contemporary global and Arab philosophical thought. It includes the following studies: Ali Hakim Salih's translation of "On Law and Justice: From Legal Realism to Law as Interpretation" by Jacob Dahl Rendtorff; Hajjaj Abu Jabr's translation of "Western and Islamic Constitutionalism" by Gustavo Gozzi; Georges Saad's translation of "Intentionality and Theory of Norms: Contributions of Contemporary Philosophy to the Question of Normativity" by Pascal Richard; "Law, Justice, and Freedom in Social Philosophy: An Examination of Hegel's Philosophy of Law" by Zwawi Beghoura; and "Natural Law: Its Nature and Validity" by Raja Bahlul.
In addition, the issue includes several further articles: "Critique of Taha Abderrahmane's Philosophy of Trustworthiness: The Interplay of Politics, Religion, Ethics, and Modernity" by Rasheed Alhaj Saleh; "A Decolonial Reading of the Post-Islamization Condition: From the Religious Reform Movement to the Phenomenon of Market Islam" by Mouldi Benalya; and "Time and the Concept of Acceleration in Late Modernity: Hartmut Rosaʼs Critical Project on Culture, Identity, Technology and Society" by Mohamed Arbi Ayari.
