Wittgenstein in Arabic: A Bibliography

Volume 10|Issue 37| Summer 2021 |Bibliography

Abstract

This bibliography consists of Arabic translations of works by the Austrian philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein (1889–1951) that have appeared by the time of the publication of this issue (Summer 2021). It also includes academic studies, in the form of monographs and articles, on certain aspects of Wittgenstein's thought. The bibliography lists only works that are exclusively focused on Wittgenstein, leaving out academic dissertations in Arabic and general works on analytical philosophy or logical positivism. This bibliography does not include the articles that are published in this special issue of Tabayyun (37) on reading Wittgenstein in Arabic. The bibliography covers the fields of linguistics, logic, philosophy of language, aesthetics and the philosophy of religion.
