Book Review: Unveiling Resistance in Contemporary Female Art By Khalid Bin Al Manji Obeidah

Unveiling Resistance in Contemporary Female Art (144 pp.) was published in Tunisia in 2014 by Dar Mohammad for Publishing and Distribution. The artist and academic Nabil Sawabi wrote an introduction to the book entitled: "The Abyss is the perfect place for the moment of creativity". This research engages with contemporary Arab fine arts criticism, which barely exists in the Arab region. This deficiency is despite the Arab corpus of arts criticism being intrinsically related to literature and poetry, which were considered an integral part of Arab culture, which is dominated by the art of writing.
